HAASTATTELU
Shaun ja Mikael 9E-luokalta haastattelivat Scott Halliburtonia tämän viimeisenä työpäivänä. Alla poikien tekemä kooste haastattelussa saamistaan vastauksista.
1. How long have you been in Finland and how long are you going to stay here? Scott has lived in Finland for 6,5 years and he hasn’t really planned the future. He might still stay here 2-3 years or longer because his wife is Finnish. He’d like to live in Italy, Japan and/or Switzerland.
2. Do you miss Scotland and what do you miss the most there? Scott doesn’t miss Scotland but he does miss his friends and family there.
3. Which one do you like better, Finland or Scotland? Why? Likes both. Scotland is more metropolitan – more different nationalities there. Finland is safer.
4. We’ve seen you riding to school with a motorbike. Could you tell us something us something about your motorbike hobby? He got his first motorbike when he was 12 years old. He had a Honda Monkey. He got his first big bike 5 years ago. Scott has been to the racing track in Alastaro.
5. How do you like Turku? Scott thinks Turku is a bit small but nice.
6. Do you have any hobbies? Football, bowling. Scott likes ice-hockey but he doesn’t know how to play it.
7. Have you tried any of Finland’s traditional foods? Do you like them? Scott likes Finnish food like “makkara, karjalanpiirakka”, but he hates mämmi (“It’s disgusting!”). He has also been to saunas and even rolled in snow.
A little bit more about Scott’s career: He has worked in a posh hotel in London. He has shook hands for instance with Leslie Nielsen and he met the crown prince of Egypt there. He’s friends with such people as Alexander Salak.
